Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify children's communication needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches to promote effective communication and language development.
  • Collaborate with families, other healthcare professionals, and educators to ensure a holistic approach to managing children's communication needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improving outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided to children and families.

Requirements
  • Recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in working with children and young adults with communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the changing needs of our service.
