About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Active Care Group. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, intervention, and support to our residents with complex communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-led therapy programmes for residents with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for residents
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care and adhere to national guidelines for excellence
  • Participate in internal training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Previous experience working in a neurorehabilitation setting, with a focus on communication and swallowing disorders
  • Specialist level dysphagia competency on the RCSLT framework
  • Ability to motivate patients and work effectively in a team environment
