About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Active Care Group. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, intervention, and support to our residents with complex communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-led therapy programmes for residents with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for our residents.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care and adhere to national guidelines for excellence.
  • Participate in internal training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure all relevant codes of practice and regulations are upheld.

Person Specification
  • HCPC registration.
  • Specialist level dysphagia competency on the RCSLT framework.
  • Previous experience of working in a neurorehabilitation setting.
  • Experience in working with aphasia, cognitive communication disorder, dysarthria, apraxia, and dysphagia.
