AXA XL is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster - Casualty Expert to join our Property & Casualty Claims Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of claims, providing expert analysis and guidance to stakeholders, and ensuring seamless resolution of complex claims.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of claims up to a pre-determined authority level, ensuring prompt, fair, and expert resolution.
- Liaise with brokers and clients to investigate liability and discuss claims protocols, activity, trends, and defensibility.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Underwriters, Actuaries, and other internal departments.
- Provide guidance and direction to Third-Party Administrators and Legal Partners for claims outside of Delegated Authority arrangements.
- Effective diary management of claims, ensuring regular review and oversight of portfolio performance.
- Attend audit performance discussions with key partners, ensuring action points are tackled quickly and effectively.
- Interest in handling Casualty claims, with knowledge of the MOJ Claims Portal preferred but not essential.
- Confident and effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills, with a high level of numeracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities, with a commitment to achieving excellence.
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience as a minimum.
