SHAPE Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at SHAPE. Our organization provides support to young women who have experienced abuse and marginalization, and we are looking for an individual who is passionate about empowering them to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic support to young women, including education, training, mentoring, and counseling.
  • Assist in creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to build their self-esteem and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
  • Mental Health First Aid certification.
  • Experience working with young women and vulnerable populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
