Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people
  • Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of children's behavior, phone messages, and communication notes
  • Safeguard children and young people from harm
  • Ensure the home environment is safe and compliant with health and safety regulations
  • Promote the healthy development of children and young people
  • Undertake domestic tasks such as shopping, food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
  • Help children adhere to behavioral expectations and challenge them when necessary
  • Accompany children and young people on residential trips and holidays
  • Attend and participate in staff team meetings and demonstrate an ability to reflect and learn

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS desirable
  • UK driving license and access to own vehicle
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
