Main Duties

As a Physiotherapist, you will provide musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients presenting to the GP practice as a first point of contact.

You will act as a source of expertise on the management of complex and general musculoskeletal patients, providing an advisory service to patients.

You will take a major role in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients within the specialty who may have complex and/or chronic presentations, and determine clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment indicated.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • HCPC registration

Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience at Band 6 level in an MSK field
  • Experience working as a first contact practitioner
