We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker to join our team at Esland. As a key member of our residential care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to our young people, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and care to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, promoting positive relationships and a sense of community among our young people.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in residential care and intervention.
- Collaborate with our therapy team to provide trauma-informed, therapeutic support to our young people.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care home.
- A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion).
- A full driving license issued in the UK.
- A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities.
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
- Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA, etc.).
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare.
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above.
