Esland is a leading provider of specialist services, driven to changing children's lives for the better. We are looking for experienced and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to provide an outstanding level of childcare and support to our young people. As a Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker, you will be responsible for leading our therapeutic and activity-led wraparound services, ensuring the best outcomes for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Lead our therapeutic and activity-led wraparound services, ensuring the best outcomes for our children.
- Provide a nurturing and peaceful environment for our young people, with a focus on security, support, and stabilisation.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
- Support our children in accessing education and participating in outdoor and adventure activities.
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home.
- A Level 3 diploma in residential childcare or equivalent.
- A full driving licence issued in the UK.
- A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities.
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
- Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention.
- Values in line with Esland's, including a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare.
Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work, and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices.
