We are a 365-day-a-year service providing specialist care and support to children. Our team is driven to changing lives for the better by delivering high-quality services.

About the Role:

We are seeking a nurturing and supportive individual to join our team as a Therapeutic Support Worker for Children. As a key member of our team, you will provide high levels of therapeutic care and support to our young people, helping them to achieve amazing outcomes.

Our Buxton home is a two-bed service providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed, therapeutic support. Over a 12-week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education, and participation in outdoor/adventure activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high levels of therapeutic care and support to our young people
- Work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality services
- Support our young people in achieving their goals and outcomes

Requirements:

- Experience in a children's residential care home (desirable)
- A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (desirable)
- A Full driving licence issued in the UK
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
