Job Title: Apprenticeship Contract Manager

Location: Commutable to one of our offices in Farnborough, Whiteley, or Bristol (1-2 days a week)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team at Leidos. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contracts with key customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial evaluation and preparation of contract change proposals
  • Scrutinize and govern contract change proposals; provide high-quality contract drafting and negotiate proposals through to signature
  • Own the contract management and contract compliance activities for the programme
  • Proactively manage customer disputes and complaints
  • Provide timely commercial advice to project and delivery teams in support of management and delivery of the programme
  • Ensure that the financial aspects and impact of the contract are clear to all parties
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with the customer commercial/contracts team
  • Take an active role in the performance of the contract and proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and capitalize on opportunities
  • Good level of understanding of programme technical performance metrics and financial status
  • Liaison with other Leidos operating units and corporate departments where applicable
Requirements
  • Strong comprehension of programme technical performance metrics and financial status
  • Extensive experience managing commercial and contractual elements of a contract change pipeline
  • Extensive experience in-life contract management and contract compliance
