Job Summary:

Hampshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled IT Contract Manager to join our Service Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our wide array of contracts and suppliers within IT Services, Infrastructure, Software, and Applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input into the development and implementation of commercial and contract negotiation strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless contract management.
  • Monitor and report on contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Service Management Team to develop and implement service improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL Service Management best practices and Hampshire County Council's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably in a public sector or IT-related field.
  • ITIL Service Management qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid working environment, with flexibility to work from home or in the office.
