Retirement Scheme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scheme Manager to join our team at A2Dominion Housing Group Ltd. As a Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for providing a people-centred service to our retired residents and managing the building and estate to ensure the highest standards of health and safety, security, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety Management: You will be accountable for conducting regular health and safety checks, maintaining comprehensive and auditable records, and liaising with internal departments as necessary.
- Building and Estate Management: You will be responsible for managing the building and estate, including reporting repairs, undertaking fire alarms, conducting pull cord checks, and recording checks and raised issues.
- Customer Service: You will assist the Housing and Lettings Team by completing viewings, assessments, tenancy sign-ups, and induction meetings to ensure customers understand their tenancy agreement, rights, and obligations.
- Tenancy Management: You will manage the termination of tenancies and liaise with the voids, lettings team, and contractors.
- Person-Centred Service: You will provide a person-centred service to our customers, utilising the provided tools and guides available, and encapsulating our 'Retirement Living' ethos.
- Facilities Management: You will manage facilities, including guest rooms and communal room bookings.
- Anti-Social Behaviour Management: You will manage low-level Anti-Social Behaviour cases in accordance with policies and procedures, working with the Housing team, and providing clear guidance to customers.
- Welfare Benefits: You will assist customers to claim Housing Benefit and other welfare benefits, ensuring rent arrears are reduced and rent is paid regularly and on time.
- Customer Wellbeing: You will regularly monitor and report on the general safety and wellbeing of customers, signposting, and referring customers to support services where appropriate.
- Complaints Management: You will manage low-level complaints or dissatisfaction on site in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- You will have experience working with vulnerable people and community groups.
- You will be experienced in maintaining buildings' health and safety requirements, including regular inspections and monitoring.
- You will have basic knowledge of welfare benefits and housing benefits.
- You will be able to commute to the housing scheme in Staines-upon-Thames, TW18 2EY.
