Job Overview

The Division of Surgery at BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Production Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services, including the management of patient appointments and the processing of referrals.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing patient appointments and ensuring that all referrals are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients and colleagues alike, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Working closely with the team to ensure that all pharmacy services are delivered to the highest standard, including the management of stock and supplies.
  • Assisting with the training and development of new staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy services and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective way.
