About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our expanding pharmacy team in Adult Mental Health. The successful candidate will provide and develop patient-centred clinical pharmacy services to in-patient wards and clinics as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provision and development of clinical pharmacy services to in-patient wards and clinics
  • Act as a role model for junior pharmacists undertaking their Clinical Diploma, providing support and supervision at ward level
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification or willingness to undertake the qualification in post
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders, influencing transformation of mental health services

Working for NELFT

NELFT places a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation.

Person Specification

  • GPhC registration
  • Clinical diploma or mental health diploma
  • Post-registration hospital experience
