Job Title: Senior Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical pharmacy services to in-patient wards and clinics, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to in-patient wards and clinics, including medicines optimisation and patient education.
  • Act as a role model for junior pharmacists, providing support and supervision at ward level.
  • Develop and implement pharmacist-led clinics to review patients and improve health outcomes.
  • Work closely with the medical team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development of pharmacy services and policies, ensuring they are aligned with Trust objectives.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Clinical diploma or mental health diploma.
  • Independent prescribing qualification (desirable).
  • Post-registration hospital experience (essential).
  • Post-registration experience in mental health or frailty (desirable).
