Job Description
The role of Engineering Administrator sits within the administration/engineering team and focuses on providing customers with excellent routine servicing, customer care, and management of equipment upkeep contracts services. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and processing customer servicing orders
- Ensuring planned maintenance and servicing is fulfilled on time, within budget, to scope, and to full customer satisfaction
- Facilitating and organising both planned and reactive service calls
- Assigning engineers to service visits, arranging hire of access equipment, and processing service visit reports
- Liaising with engineers on site, ensuring full communication and understanding of required service work
- Facilitating comprehensive reports of work carried out
- Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure work is within project scope and appropriately issued
- Providing technical/engineering updates to clients to ensure they understand scope of work
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Engineering Administration/customer support experience
- Experience within a general engineering or manufacturing environment
- Basic Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering knowledge
- Strong organisation, communication, and time management skills
- Excellent communication ability with experience of customer facing
