Research Scientist in Organic Semiconductor Physics

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Physics, working under the supervision of Prof. Sir Richard Friend. The successful candidate will work closely with Prof. Akshay Rao and Dr. Hugo Bronstein to explore the electronic and optical properties of radical (spin ¿)-based organic semiconductors.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research on the electronic and optical properties of radical (spin ¿)-based organic semiconductors
- Develop and implement new experimental techniques to study the properties of these materials
- Collaborate with the research team to design and fabricate new organic semiconductor devices
- Contribute to the writing of research papers and presentations
- PhD in Physics or a related area
- Strong background in semiconductor device physics of organic semiconductors
- Excellent publication record and a strong track record of high-quality research
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues
- A stimulating research environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities
