About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at All Saints Hospital in Oldham, leading our deaf services. The successful candidate will have expertise in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with individuals with complex needs, including those who are deaf or have complex communication requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious psychologist to take on a challenging leadership role, contributing to the development of innovative therapeutic approaches and interventions. You will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, and risk assessments, as well as supervising junior staff and mentoring their professional development.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £62,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes benefits such as 33 days' annual leave, free meals, and parking, as well as wellbeing support and activities to maintain a great work-life balance.

Key Requirements:

  • Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC and Chartered status with the British Psychological Society.
  • Successful completion of a Doctorate-level qualification in applied psychology.
  • Experience in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with individuals with complex needs, including those who are deaf or have complex communication requirements.
  • Ability to supervise junior staff and mentor their professional development.
