Job Overview

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled medical professional to lead our Community Rehabilitation Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior clinical leadership to the team, ensuring the highest standard of care for patients undergoing rehabilitation.

The team will work closely with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans, promoting maximum symptomatic and functional recovery.

The postholder will be expected to demonstrate excellent clinical skills, using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge to inform their practice.

Main Duties
  • Provide senior clinical leadership to the Community Rehabilitation Team
  • Conduct direct clinical assessments and consultations for patients under the care of the team
  • Lead medical input and leadership in weekly MDT care planning/risk management planning meetings
  • Responsible Clinician responsibilities, including attendance at and report-writing for Mental Health Tribunals and Managers hearings
  • Ensure compliance with all legal obligations covering clinical practice
