The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant. As a key holder, you will be responsible for driving store performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining the physical appearance and maintenance of your store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting your team in meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Deliver exceptional market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Demonstrate your passion for product by offering a VIP concierge service to customers, actively contacting them with updates on products and tastings.
  • Sell the story, not the discount, by sharing your in-depth knowledge of our range with customers.
  • Take ownership of your wine knowledge, constantly learning about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
  • Take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
  • Be an ambassador for the store, supporting the team in delivering an outstanding shopping experience for every customer.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with excellent time-management, delegation, and problem-solving skills. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service to every single customer. Self-motivation, adaptability, and resilience are essential in this role.

You should also have a full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points. Wine knowledge is beneficial, but passion to learn more is essential to pass level 2 WSET wine qualifications.

Contract and Hours

This is a fixed-term contract with 32 hours per week. We look forward to receiving your application and working together to achieve our goals.
