About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Diabetes Dietitian to join our dynamic and progressive team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a paediatric diabetes caseload of over 200 children across the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells area.
  • Work closely with members of the multi-disciplinary team, including Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurses and Consultant Paediatricians.
  • Attend regular multi-disciplinary team clinics and provide inpatient and community support.
  • Contribute to diabetes network groups and provide training to colleagues.
  • Develop and implement service improvements to ensure the service meets the Best Practice Tariff for diabetes.
Requirements
  • BSc or post-graduate diploma in dietetics or equivalent.
  • Current state registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working in paediatrics or diabetes, with a strong understanding of MDT working.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
