About the Role

M Group Services is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our SHEQ department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective SHEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on SHEQ matters, including training and awareness programs.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies to improve SHEQ performance and reduce risks.
  • Investigate and report on incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH National Certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
