Financial Crime Risk Management Lead

We are looking for an experienced professional to fill the role of Anti-Tax Evasion and Anti-Bribery & Corruption Lead. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within the financial industry by developing and implementing effective policies and procedures to prevent tax evasion and bribery.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract that requires a high level of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism regulations, as well as experience working in a similar role or environment.
As a senior leader, you will have a proven track record of delivering results-driven initiatives that have positively impacted organisational outcomes.
Furthermore, you will possess exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop actionable solutions.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the bank's anti-tax evasion and anti-bribery policies, ensuring they are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- You will oversee the training and development of staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in preventing tax evasion and bribery.
- You will maintain relationships with external partners and regulatory bodies to stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective reporting mechanisms to monitor and mitigate tax evasion and bribery risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimisation.
Requirements
- You must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role or environment, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven initiatives.
- You will have a strong understanding of anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism regulations.
- You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop actionable solutions.
- You will be able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including senior leaders, employees, and external partners.
Salary
£85,000 - £110,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
