The Case Worker - County Lines role at Catch22 presents an exceptional opportunity to provide tailored support to young people, working collaboratively as part of a multi-agency team to ensure their safety and maximize their outcomes.
About the Role
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for a caseload of young people involved in County Lines activity, ensuring effective assessment, care planning, and risk management.
- Proactively assess and manage caseload risks, escalating concerns through internal and external safeguarding procedures as necessary.
- Liaise with local partner organizations and agencies to facilitate effective referrals, care, risk management, and transition for young people.
- Promote the continued joint work of the service and partners, acting as a sub-regional or district single point of contact as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end support and interventions to young people and their families, addressing their diverse needs and aspirations.
- Ensure that service planning and delivery consider the needs of all service users, enabling them to fulfill their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain relationships with key partner agencies.
- Honest and reliable, with a creative and flexible approach to work.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting demands through problem-solving and a 'can-do' attitude.
- Experience of working with and delivering training to young people and professionals in group and one-to-one settings.
- Strong attention to detail, with knowledge of risk assessments, engagement strategies, and intervention strategies.
- Experience of using recording and data collation systems.
