About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join our product team at Snowplow. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, customer-facing documentation that enables our users to understand and use Snowplow's products effectively.

Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Customer Success, Sales Engineering and Support to understand the functionality and nuances of Snowplow's platform and data capabilities.
  2. Develop content around how to leverage Snowplow for a range of use cases, from basic setup to advanced implementations across key industries (e.g., retail, digital products, AI/ML).
  3. Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
  4. Contribute to Snowplow's knowledge base and thought leadership to support a community of data professionals.
  5. Organise and produce short instructional videos in collaboration with participants across the business.
Requirements
  • Native English speaker or equivalent proficiency, with storytelling skills and an ability to simplify complex technical information.
  • Proven experience writing for technical audiences, including software developers, data engineers, or data scientists.
  • Strong technical understanding of data platforms, data modelling, or event tracking, and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), or product analytics tools (Amplitude, Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple documentation projects.
