The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector, aligning with DCS Group's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Research and identify potential business partnerships within the manufacturing industry that align with our company objectives.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and potential clients.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Client Acquisition: Lead efforts in acquiring new clients by presenting compelling business proposals and negotiating contracts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our manufacturing, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities, progress, and challenges.
What We're Looking For
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in the personal care and cosmetics industry.
  • Contract Manufacturing Background: Demonstrated success in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Retail Experience: Experience dealing with major retail chains (the mults).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, and proficiency in using Excel and other relevant software tools.
  • Attributes: Dynamic individual with a proactive approach to business development, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
