About the Position

The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Palliative Care Clinician to join our team. As a key member of the Macmillan Specialist multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical practice and leadership in palliative care and rehabilitation.

With a strong background in speech and language therapy, you will have significant experience working in a community setting and possess excellent communication skills. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients with complex physical, psychological, and emotional needs.

This role requires the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions. You must be able to provide evidence of continuing development and have a specialist level of knowledge in advanced clinical reasoning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice and support to the assessment, planning, and implementation of individual programmes of care
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver locally driven high-quality care
  • Develop and implement individualised programmes of care

Requirements:

  • First Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Professional Registration with HCPC
  • Evidence of study at Masters Level
  • Advanced Communication Skills

Salary: £43,141 - £72,139 per annum
