We are seeking an experienced Palliative Care Worker to join our team in Stockport. As a key member of our palliative care service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring they receive the best possible care and comfort during this challenging time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing physical, practical, and emotional support to service users, promoting independence and dignity.
- Working collaboratively with our existing team to deliver person-centred care, meeting the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
- Attending to personal needs, following support plans, including personal care and manual handling.
- Supporting daily tasks, such as domestic duties and medication management.
- Ensuring individuals with learning disabilities have opportunities to achieve their ambitions and aspirations within their community.
Requirements:
- UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance.
- Experience providing end of life care and personal care.
- Enhanced DBS registration to the update service.
Estimated Salary: £14.13 per hour (Umbrella Pay)
