Bedlington, Northumberland, United Kingdom UKCIL Ltd Full time

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Care Support Assistant to provide support to an individual with autism in Bedlington. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in working within social care and possess excellent communication skills.

The role involves assisting the individual with daily tasks, such as cooking and eating regularly, managing household admin, and maintaining a routine to prevent burnout. We are looking for someone who can be proactive in finding activities to participate in and suggesting things to do out in the community.

This is a part-time position requiring 3 hours per week, with flexibility to work around the individual's needs. A car driver with business insurance would be an advantage, but not essential as public transport can be used.

We offer a competitive salary of £13.09 per hour, with 5.6 weeks' holiday pro-rata. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting adults with autism and be confident in their ability to build up a routine to prevent burnout.
