Aerospace Development Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Development Engineer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Located in Tewkesbury, you will play a key role in developing hydraulic components for commercial and military aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and qualify hydraulic components for aircraft, working across the entire product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to support tooling development and procurement.
- Write and maintain assembly instructions, production worksheets, and reports in support of product development and qualification.
- Conduct performance calculations using defined methods, with a preference for candidates experienced with Mathcad Prime.
The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic principles, with a basic grasp of electrical theory. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Word and have experience in performing FMEAs, developing risk mitigation strategies, and executing design reviews.
Salary: £375 per day (rate may vary based on experience).
