About the Job:

City of Doncaster Council is seeking an experienced social worker to join its Children and Young People's Team. The successful candidate will work with families and individuals to assess their needs, provide support, and develop personalized plans to promote positive outcomes.

This role offers a competitive salary of £32,911 - £43,855 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing family situations to identify areas of need and risk
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to address identified needs and promote positive change
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress
  • Participating in regular supervision and training to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Professional qualifications as a registered social worker
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly children and families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
