Autism Support Professional

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a care setting with children, a valid DBS on the Update Service, and a relevant qualification in childcare or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3).
This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection. The successful applicant must satisfy all background recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
We offer a competitive salary of £00 per hour, based in Sheffield. Our Residential Team provides a supportive environment for young people to grow and develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and review individual care plans in collaboration with other professionals.
- Maintain open and effective communication with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Risk assess and ensure a safe and secure living environment.
- Organize and participate in recreational and educational activities that promote social skills, personal growth, and community involvement.
- Support and guide young people in managing their emotions and behaviours.
