Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a Roaming Senior Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving a proactive behavioral safety approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop Safe Systems of Work to ensure effective implementation.
  • Investigate and report on accidents and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Wellbeing (HSEW) standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate Health and Safety records and inductions.
  • Ensure equipment is installed, maintained, and used correctly and safely.
  • Engage with suppliers and sub-contractors to share best practices and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) and NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • CSCS certification.
  • Pragmatic approach to applying HSEW regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to present to an audience.
  • Proficiency in using Autodesk technologies and MS Office suite.
  • SMSTS and First Aid certifications.
