The Sterling Choice is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit and Inspection Management. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation. Develop and implement effective risk assessments and mitigation strategies to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Contractor Management. Oversee the management of contractors on-site, ensuring they are aware of and comply with our health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Accident Investigation and Reporting. Conduct thorough investigations into accidents and near misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Training and Awareness. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on health and safety best practices and ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Continuous Improvement. Collaborate with our management team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to our health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements
