Procurement Role Overview

Verus Recruitment Partners is proud to represent one of the UK's leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility in Sheffield, our client manufactures high-integrity forged components from materials such as nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel, and carbon alloys. Their products serve critical sectors, including aerospace, nuclear, power generation, marine, and oil & gas.

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join this dynamic and growing team. This newly created role is initially offered on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent position.

As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role within the accounts office, supporting key departments including production, sales, and maintenance. Your primary responsibility will be managing all materials and consumables orders, ensuring data accuracy and proper authorization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process orders for materials and consumables, ensuring timely and accurate procurement.
  • Ensure all procurement data is accurate and orders are authorized in line with company procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounts team and other departments as needed.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in procurement administration, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience supporting accounts teams with procurement processes.
Proficiency with Office 365 and related software.

Competitive salary: £27,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
Monday-Thursday 8:15 am - 4:30 pm, with a 4:00 pm finish on Fridays.
33 days of holiday (including bank holidays), pro-rata.
On-site parking.
Opportunity for this fixed-term contract to transition into a permanent position.
