Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our busy Cardiology administrative team at Conquest Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our department, and delivering excellent patient experience.
About the Role:
This part-time role involves acting as the first point of contact for patients requiring cardiac test appointments, answering telephone calls, and supporting the Cardiology Elective Bookings Manager. You will also cover reception duties, provide directions, and maintain confidentiality. As an ideal candidate, you should have excellent communication skills, be well-organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for patients requiring cardiac test appointmentsAnswer telephone calls and support the Cardiology Elective Bookings ManagerCover reception duties, providing directions, and maintaining confidentialityGCSE or equivalent in English and MathsAbility to undertake additional training on departmental IT and manual systemsExperience and understanding of a Patient Administration System (PAS) and customer care skills, preferably within a healthcare environmentGood IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and OutlookBenefits:
