Job Purpose

This role will support the growth and development of key destinations in the Emirates Holidays portfolio.

  • Manage relationships with hotel, air and ground suppliers, negotiating special offers and allocations.
  • Work with the contracting and loading teams to ensure offers are loaded correctly in line with business requirements.
  • Attend trade shows and undertake product trips to review existing and new products.
  • Become an expert on Emirates Holidays key destinations and product, making recommendations on categorization of hotel properties within the EKH portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Product Business Analyst to pass on required information and insights to enable weekly competitor analysis, KPI reporting, and market trends and opportunities for improved performance.
  • Support the contact centre team on the Teams Board by becoming the key point of contact for product enquiries.
  • Understand business needs, provide regular competitor/market analysis, including benchmarking of competitor product offerings and market position.
  • Identify gaps in the market and profitable opportunities to secure products which are commercially viable and will enhance the Emirates Holidays offering.
  • Responsibility for producing and providing pricing for all marketing activities across the required channels.
  • Accountable for briefing all special offers and pricing requirements to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage the department's Supplier Events Schedule/Calendar, Exhibitions attendance plans, and organize FAM trips for Contact Centre and product teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A travel-related degree or travel industry experience is essential.
  • Experience within a tour operating product role is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with hotels in the UAE, Indian Ocean, and Far East is an asset.
  • Competent applications of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to interact with a multitude and diverse group of overseas suppliers and internal departments.
  • A strong initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
