Senior Specialist Legal Editor, Corporate Law
We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to join the Practical Law Corporate team in the UK.
Practical Law is a leading online know-how service providing rigorous, peer-reviewed resources, such as practice notes, current awareness and standard documents to help legal professionals work smarter and advise with confidence. As a Senior Specialist Legal Editor in Practical Law, you will use your specialist legal knowledge of advising on corporate law matters to provide and maintain a wide range of Practical Law content.
About the Role
- Analyse the latest corporate law, regulatory and policy developments, deciding which items to cover and to what extent
- Create new and maintain existing materials spanning a variety of formats including standalone and comparative resources
- Commission, review and edit content written internally and externally
- Meet with external customers and industry experts to maintain and build understanding of the latest trends and pressures in corporate law and practice
- Assist with marketing the Practical Law Corporate practice area and engaging with customers
- Liaise with the wider Thomson Reuters editorial teams, sales, marketing, product management, technology and segment functions where necessary
About You
- Substantial post-qualification experience (England & Wales) as a corporate lawyer in either a law firm or in-house
- A demonstrable interest and ability in writing
- In-depth understanding of corporate law and extensive experience in advising on corporate matters
