About the Role

As a Senior Specialist Legal Editor in Practical Law, you will utilize your expertise in corporate-commercial law to develop and maintain a wide range of Practical Law content.

You will focus primarily on English corporate-commercial content, with some responsibilities for certain Scots law materials.

Working in a supportive team of experienced colleagues, you will handle a breadth of interesting legal and editorial work, including:

  • Creating well-written, up-to-date content for online publication that reflects current law and practice.
  • Commissioning, reviewing, and editing content written internally and externally.
  • Maintaining all content for which you are responsible to ensure it is up-to-date and meets business objectives.
  • Developing relationships with third parties to obtain contributions of content or improve content through third-party insights.

In addition, the Senior Specialist Legal Editor will:

  • Assist with developing and marketing the Corporate and Commercial practice areas.
  • Support marketing and sales, and other parts of the business, to ensure delivery of business objectives.

About You

You're a fit for this role if your background includes:

  • Substantial post-qualification experience as a lawyer specializing in corporate-commercial law in England and Wales, with some experience in Scotland.
  • A demonstrable interest and ability in writing with excellent attention to detail.
