ESG Sustainability Expert for Private Equity Firm in London

As a leading international investor in mid-market private equity and infrastructure, our client is seeking an ESG Senior Associate to join its Private Equity team. The successful candidate will support the ESG and Sustainability Director in a variety of sustainability-related projects.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with a top-tier private equity firm in London. The ESG Senior Associate will be responsible for conducting due diligence on new investment opportunities, assessing risks and opportunities, and developing key milestones for the ownership period. Additionally, you will design and deliver training and team events related to ESG and sustainability.
You will also assess portfolio company performance against the firm's ESG requirements and develop action plans to address improvement areas over time. Furthermore, you will lead the process of collecting ESG data from 3i's portfolio companies on an annual basis.

What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking an individual with prior experience in sustainability, preferably in industry or consultancy. You should have a clear commercial focus, with the ability to be innovative and pragmatic. Prior experience within the financial services sector would be beneficial.
Salary & BenefitsThe salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000-£100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, our client offers a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and flexible working hours.
