Altus Partners is a leading pan-European Private Debt firm dedicated to supporting the growth of its Sustainability practice. As a skilled ESG professional, you will play a vital role in shaping the firm's responsible investment and corporate sustainability commitments.

The Role:

This opportunity requires an experienced professional with a strong background in ESG/Sustainability, preferably within or consulting to Private Debt/ Private Equity/Asset Management firms. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough due-diligence on investment opportunities to identify material risks and opportunities
  • Monitoring ESG performance for portfolio companies, managing risk, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Designing and implementing sustainability-linked margin ratchets
  • Supporting the firm's responsible investment policies in line with regulatory standards
  • Assisting in the development and enhancement of responsible investment practices
  • Managing investor queries, reports, and presentations
  • Contributing to the firm's corporate sustainability agenda and reporting

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of ESG frameworks, metrics, and reporting standards (e.g., PRI, SFDR, TCFD, UN SDGs) with experience applying them within Private Debt/Equity or Asset Management
  • Strong research, analytical, and quantitative skills to assess ESG risks and opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on working in diverse teams and managing both internal and external stakeholders

Salary Estimate: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
