Spire Healthcare is offering a remarkable opportunity for a Sanitation Specialist. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering a thorough cleaning service across various departments, ensuring that all designated areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness. This position operates on a bank contract basis, allowing you to select shifts that fit your availability to cover staff shortages, including illness and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare patient rooms for incoming admissions Ensure daily servicing of patient rooms Maintain cleanliness in departments and public spaces Adhere to established daily and weekly cleaning protocols Exhibit flexibility to adapt to changes while ensuring continuity of care and quality improvement Assist nursing staff in preparing patient rooms for admissions Support team members, occasionally supervising less experienced staff

Ideal Candidate Profile

Previous experience in hospitality or cleaning services is advantageous, though not mandatory No formal qualifications are necessary; comprehensive training will be provided Familiarity with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations is a plus Strong communication skills to interact professionally with staff and patients Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Self-motivated with a systematic approach to tasks
