Class 2 HGV Transport Specialist

About the Role: As a Class 2 HGV Transport Specialist, you will play a crucial role in transporting agricultural materials to various locations while adhering to commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
This is an ongoing full-time temporary work opportunity with the possibility of leading to a permanent position. You will be responsible for operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB equipment, loading and unloading cargo, planning routes, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:- Operate a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB equipment safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading cargo as needed.
- Planning routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
Requirements:
- A valid Class 2 driver's license with no more than 6 points.
- Previous experience as a Class 2 HIAB or similar operator.
- Excellent knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate various types of trucks and navigate different terrains.
- Strong time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of cargo.
