About the Job: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) operator to transport agricultural materials to various industrial and commercial locations.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 2 driver's license, excellent knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of trucks and navigate different terrains.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB equipment.
  2. Load and unload cargo as needed.
  3. Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries.
  4. Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Key Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 driver's license with no more than 6 points.
  • Proven experience as a Class 2 HIAB or similar operator.
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to operate various types of trucks and navigate different terrains.
  • Strong time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of cargo.

Job Details:

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 5 hours per week
