HGV Mechanic Job Description
">We are seeking an experienced HGV mechanic to join our team at our Chorley location.
">About the Role:
">This is an exciting opportunity to work as a heavy goods vehicle mechanic, responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Routine maintenance checks and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle faults
- Working efficiently to meet productivity targets and deadlines
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Salary and Benefits:
">We offer a competitive salary of £47,672.50 per year, overtime opportunities, and a range of benefits, including an MOT pass rate bonus and HGV Class 1 license bonus.
">Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- Proven experience as an HGV mechanic or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanics
