The John Lewis Partnership is looking for a skilled Commercial Vehicle Repair Specialist to join our Vehicle Workshop team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our large HGV lorries to the highest standards, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.

The ideal candidate will possess a City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle technician qualification or equivalent, as well as a proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs. A Full UK Driving Licence is also essential for this position.

You will be working on a variety of tasks, including completing relevant sections of inspections, services, and defect sheets, while ensuring that all spare requests and time books are completed daily. You will be aware of best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, delivering high-quality repairs in a cost-effective manner.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a defined contribution pension scheme where your contributions will be matched by the Partnership (up to 8% of pay) and, after three years service, you'll receive an additional Partnership contribution of 4% of pay, regardless of whether you pay in or not.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £36,450.00 - £47,750.00, plus a shift premium of up to £4,287.50 Annually. Overtime is a premium featured benefit, but not guaranteed.
