About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Casework Manager to join our team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. As a key member of our regional office, you will play a vital role in supporting our volunteer branch-based casework managers and ensuring a consistent, timely, and quality service is provided to SSAFA beneficiaries.

About the Team

You will be part of a close-knit team, working closely with our Regional Operations Manager and 7 Regional Casework Coordinators. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional support to our beneficiaries, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion and commitment to excellence.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a good standard of education, experience of managing employees, and a track record of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. You will also have experience of working with volunteers, using Microsoft Office to a high standard, and be capable of quickly learning a computerised case management system. An understanding of the way of life for today's Armed Forces, veterans, and their families would be an asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with volunteer branch-based casework managers
  • Support the casework administrators with call handling, signposting, and the triage of initial enquiries from clients
  • Influence the processes and procedures within the regional office, working in a close team and line managed by the Regional Operations Manager
