About the Role

This part-time Maths Teaching position offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire and motivate students to build their confidence and achieve academic success in maths.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 4 students with SEMH needs.
  • Differentiate teaching to accommodate a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and senior staff.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching maths as a secondary age level.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and experience working with SEMH needs.
  • Ability to differentiate teaching to meet individual needs.
