An experienced Special Needs Teaching Associate is sought by Prospero Teaching to work with students aged 11-18 years old at a SEN school with specialist knowledge and resources.

The successful candidate will support students with severe learning difficulties and complex needs, as well as other co-occurring conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and more.

About the Role

As a Special Needs Teaching Associate, you will be responsible for supporting students in a classroom setting, providing individualized attention and support to meet their educational needs.

Your role will involve working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with complex needs.

You will also be required to contribute to the development of lesson plans and resources to support student learning.

Requirements
  • Degree in Education or related field
  • Experience working with students with complex needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
